Muy pocas cosas salen bien en el primer intento. Creo que estamos diseñados para fallar, porque a través del error y el fracaso es como realmente aprendemos. Hoy le presenté un cuento a mi grupo de escritura creativa, y quedó claro que lo que presenté fue el primer borrador de un posible cuento.
Cuando uno termina de escribir una historia, no es consciente de la cantidad de elementos flojos que le quitan fuerza a la narración, bien sea a nivel de personaje, trama, diálogo, escenario, ritmo, etc. Es preferible que a uno le den Palo con Estilo, a qué le digan que todo lo que hace es perfecto.

Salí de la reunión con bastantes sugerencias e ideas nuevas para mejorar ese primer borrador, que posiblemente se va a convertir en un segundo, tercero, cuarto, quinto, etc. A la larga no importa en que número la historia finalmente salga a la luz. Lo que realmente debe importar es que todos sus elementos funcionen como un reloj.
